Yes yes yes, exactly what we need, scored from midfield against Man Utd, Arsenal and Chelsea while playing on loan Cardiff. Get this over the line, and only 25 years old.

Think he'd be a good addition. As with most rumours it just wouldn't feel right unless West Ham were also linked! Mention of Spurs as well. I think there'll be one genuinely interested party (hopefully us) and the other links are down to the agent trying to bump up the transfer fee. And most of his goals last year were from behind the striker position, which is not his normal position and he doesn't have continuity as an attacking midfielder. This is the definition of an "overpaying" deal in my opinion. No offence

If money is tight, central midfield is not the area to target. Striker, full-backs, another winger all come first for me.

If we can get a Right back in along with Ollie Watkins and the Russian kid in without this transfer effecting money then I'd definatly get him in. Was Cardiffs best player last season and we can't ignore the midfield just be it is ok at the moment. Jimmy needs replacing and Kouyate will probably be off next year.

Think this would be an excellent signing. We still haven’t properly repacked Cabaye. Meyer looks like he can be really good, but our midfield is still using Schlupp too often and MacArthur is getting on. Meyer is more playing wide more often than not. While this position isn’t a priority, If we are signing a couple of fullbacks and a striker, I’d be happy with a good quality midfielder as well.

It’s claimed the leaders of the Eagles have been in Seville since yesterday. They are trying to get closer to Betis’ requirements, so they can acquire the player’s services. The report states the negotiation between two clubs is open. They further go on to suggest ‘everything could be resolved in the next few hours’. Camarasa has a release clause of €25m in his Betis contract and since the start of the summer transfer window, the Spanish side viewed his sale with good eyes.

That’s great news - if true, but it sounds like a great step in the right direction. I hope we are still looking for a striker, a RB and hopefully a CB, so still a lot of business to do before next Thursday

Why wait until pre season is over and 10 days until first game before making an offer ? With limited money why look at players in a position that we already have plenty of cover ? Doesn’t make any sense ....sounds like agent trying to manufacture a move somewhere
