Heard he is available on a free. Never lived up to expectation at city who paid 42 million for him. Could be a good addition if given a chance. Think we were linked with him a few deadline days ago but got Sakho in instead.

Left-footed player who started off as a striker but Standard Liege converted him into a defender. It was said in the past that he is at his best when he is in a real battle with a rugged centre-forward if he has to think about things and sort his feet out he is not that effective.Not that comfortable on the ball.Also he needed to read the game better as forwards could run off his shoulder far too easily without him realising.But he does possess pace and power.
