I know the source is unreliable. However if there was truth in this, I think it would be hard to turn down.

£50 million for the pair is a derisory offer that Parish would laugh away.

25m for PVA with Shlupp, Pape and Ward all able to fill that role would be good business... AWB is worth keeping for another season and get 25% more in summer 2020

I really hope AWB stays, but I reckon Parish would listen to offers over £35m. PvA is a real threat going forward which might appeal to a bigger club where defending is less of a consideration. Given his defensive performances for us though I wouldn't turn my nose up at £20m. £50m and Parish may look at it as £30m to replace the two of them and then £20 million to put towards a striker or attacking midfielder.

I have to say I think this story is a fantasy football journalism, but there is definitely a groundswell regarding potential moves for AWB, even more so than Wilf. I am starting to think it is highly unlikely he will still be here come August.

I am pretty much convinced that ‘groundswell’ in this case is short for regurgitated bollocks by the media outlets. No one does proper journalism any more. One outlet makes something up and then the others embellish on it.
