My aspirations are rather modest for our modest sized club, but if we reached 50 points and no goal deficit for the first time in the modern EPL then, with the cup QF, this season will oddly be considered a success. Hard to take given losing 3 times to Watford, home and away to that other team and a dismal home record but it would constitute progress of sorts. I suspect season ticket holders who have had a whole season digesting the turgid fare dished up at home may struggle to agree this analysis. Thoughts?

As has been said on at least one other thread, if you swapped the home results and the away results round I think most season ticket holders would be pretty happy with this season. Our home performances haven't all been quite as awful as some on here make out but nevertheless there have been too many disappointments at home.

Hmm perhaps I can win an award for most boring new thread?

Didn't mean it to sound like that. I tend to dip in and out of threads and some comments stick in my mind, many others don't. I will be very pleasantly surprised if we get to 50 points (51 actually) as that would mean three more wins, two at home.

The performances have been OK at home actually more the results have been awful.
