didn't realise what an atrocious ham of an actor Barry Foster was since they started rerunning it on Talking Pictures, completely up himself and getting to William Shatner like levels, but lovely music to go with Barry Foster's glorious barnet…

Mr. Rusk, you’re not wearing your tie. Barry Foster was pretty ropey in the Sweeney film as well (no pun intended).

Loving the Edgar Wallace Mystery Theatre, although I'm sure probably only Becky and Midlands Eagle will remember it.

I never watched Van Der Valk at the time as I thought it was boring bollocks as a youngster. Everybody knows the tune.

My TV evening comprises MASH (two episodes) followed by the Talking Pictures latest reprise.... 'Callan' just finished, have enjoyed 'Danger UXB' and 'Family at War'. Also 'The Dick Powell Theatre' a real 60's favourite. 'Van der Walk' sends me to sleep well, I have yet to reach the credits. Thank you Talking Pictures.
