The wife was watching this last night. I started to take notice when i realised Kate Beckinsale was in it. Anyhow about halfway through they are driving through the jungle in the Congo when they get waved down by an old feller in a football shirt. Red and blue stripes , no 11 on the back. Front view Palace badge in the centre. My guess is from 73/74 or 76/77 . He had cut off the sleeves so couldnt tell (73 kit had numbers on the arms).

I think it's known as DR Congo now, so it must have been Don Rogers. I imagine Don Rogers living a life much the same as Charles Hawtrey in Carry On Up The Jungle.
Living down here does have some advantages. At least you can see them cry. |

The great Tonka, stick it up your honker, followed by a quick blast from that Hai Karate girl squeezing his horn, ooh er, not Charles Hawtrey for me though DR was too butch, more like Terry Scott's Tarzan, his finest performance btw, even better than in Carry on Camping
