I am thinking of getting a phone account with one of the many online bookmakers for Saturday and also for the future , and see some are offering seemingly good new account offers .Any advice on good deals ? And ones to avoid ? Apart from the gamble sensible advice . Thanks

going to place my bet today. Always go with The Mirror forecasts. I won £140 with a £10 stake on Papillon many years ago. then the missus won over £200 on Silver Birch a few years later. We was informed by ST's behind us at HT during a game,....and the missus left to collect her winnings. Got no tips for this year, but the Marvel comic on UK racehorses looks a good bet. Although Shergar is missing,....still.
I disengage, I turn the page. |

Do it each way, I rarely win on the National and whilst I love horse racing I am not a fan of that race. Mind you I had a 16/1 winner yesterday so that will ease the pain of probably losing on Saturday.

Ladies day. They’re not happy up there with the press showing photos that humiliate the scouse women, especially when drunk. That came from a male official from Liverpool and some woman in a dress showing nearly all of her boobs apart from nipples and lower of breasts. Looking at them sober they really lack class already. Tacky, and a lot of them make me turn my top lip up at them. Fake tan everywhere. Sh1t dresses, as bright as they can find. Lipstick on pigs.

It's 106 miles to Chicago, we got a full tank of gas, half a pack of cigarettes, it's dark... and we're wearing sunglasses. |

Every gambler I have ever known has always said never bet on the grand national like it is some kind of mortal sin to do so. It is a bit of lottery with so many runners and a long race so I tend to avoid it unless there is a Palace connection somewhere

I've stuck £20 e/w on Pleasant Company with Bet365 as they give you half your stake back on E/W bets. It's an impossible race to call as with jumps and that many horses there's always a lot of falls and a favourite can quite easily get taken out at the first fence.

Still for the occasional punter who has a spare fiver if they get lucky the odds are normally decent. Enjoy the day lets hope its a palace win followed by a National winner. Don't see the point in the Grand National myself. Why not just hand your money over to a bookie, shoot a couple of poor horses and be done with it.
