Hoping this will be allowed under current regime . . . This is a shout out to ALL vets no matter what service you were in OR when you served. It also includes current serving personnel. Please join up & show your support, no matter how much or little. Every bit helps. Thank you Brothers & Sisters
This operation, will make the 'Charge Of The Light Brigade' seem like a simple military exercise. |

The way this country treats our service men and women is a national disgrace. The politicians are quick to call on them when blood needs to be shed and even quicker to point the finger when things go wrong. Imagine for example PM Corbyn and Abbott telling troops to lay down their lives for the greater good. However those same self serving "bar stewards" go missing when it comes to helping those and their families who have suffered for our country. What do they know of honour and loyalty. Its time we had a British GI bill.

I'm actually quite tempted to come over for this. I don't think I will get received well doing it here.

Thank you Brothers & Sisters if all veterans believed your politics (the problem being they aren't obvious from the facebook page). I very much doubt you would get close to 1,000,000 real veterans; purely due to cuts to the forces since the 80s.

We could always use the armed forces to blockade the ports of Rotterdam, le Havre, Marseilles.....give the t.w@ts in Brussels something to think about.

Just an update, it seems(subject to police approval) that Fri 19th April(Good Friday . . . How poignant) will be the March. There is also a 'Rolling Thunder' also taking place with 6,500 Bikers signed up(so far). NO money is required, just your support. Let your local MP know, write to the 'Times'(lol), but, please let them know they CANNOT continue to treat service men & women as badly as they have been, anymore. Thanking you all in advance.

Its time we had a British GI bill. You're right. I rank both the treatment of ex service members and also of the elderly as a stain on our nation. It's surely not too much to ask to be looked after by the government when you've gone beyond the call of duty.

I hope this march does come off. As an American Veteran (Army) who served with British Military in Germany during the early 1980s I have a great deal of respect and admiration for members of the BAOR and the RAF Germany Command. We may have not seen combat but we were always on our guard. I also served with British Army personnel during my time in the Multi-national Force and Observers (MFO) in the Sinai in early 1986. For any soldier serving in a capacity that brings about peace where there hadn't been any for a very long time is the ultimate service one can perform. Therefore, I salute my comrades in arms and best friends any American soldier could have and wish we the very best.
