I wasn't sure about posting this, but this Club means so much to me and I've been supporting the Palace since the early 60's so S.D it!
Ive just released this track as a Homage to the Stones who have been nearly as important to me as the Palace throughout my life.I also dedicate the song to Wilf.
Wilf is without a doubt imo the most exciting player ever to wear the Palace shirt and I've had the privilege to see Johnny Byrne, Don Rogers,Peter Taylor Vince Hillaire as well as many great goal scorers but for me Wilf is Jumpin'Jack Flash and he is a gas gas gas as the song goes.
I expect I will p..s more than a few of you off but I hope some of you enjoy the track.

Much as I admire Wilf it’s still Don Rogers for me.
Wasn’t Jumping Jack Flash Keith Richards’ gardener?

Indeed he was.

A stockbroker urged me to buy a stock that would triple its value every year. I told him, at my age, I don't even buy green bananas!

What, he was Johnny Byrne's gardener?

Wife beating may be socially acceptable in Sheffield, but it is a different matter in Cheltenham

Alan Smith had the under 18’s as his gardeners, car washers and leaf sweepers for his front and drive. I sh1t you not. Gareth Southgate was very obedient.

It must’ve added to their fitness, because how s tactics didn’t go much beyond fitness, or it was just free slave labour.

Johnny Byrne for me as well..when you think that then they were kicking a leather ball..which when wet, which it was many times..that was like kicking a cannon ball.. and our Johnny (Budgie) played like magic with that..
So yea, Wilf is today' best player by far..but Johnny (Budgie) Byrne will always be No 1 for me....

Here since 81...(LAST CENTURY !!).. x-Dunraven School, early 1960.... Palace 'nut' since 58....
