Do people think we should play our strongest team against Watford?
We don’t have a league game again for a few weeks because of the international break.
I think we should go for it and include AWB, Tomkins and Zaha.
Watford rested Deeney and Delofeu at the weekend and will be going all out for a semi final place.
They play a solid 4 in midfield and compete all over the field so we need to match them with no more Luka, Mcarthur and Schlupp combination in midfield or we’ll be overrun.
Ward struggles against Pereira which is why AWB should play and I’m not sure how Kelly would compete against Deeney.

Someone needs to step up and jump on Deeney's knee straight off the bat, show them their bully boy tactics are going to end with a broken f***ing leg. For them.

Schlupp left back is a good and realistic shout. Roy won't drop his golden boy, arguably he shouldn't be dropped because of the goals he's scored and created recently but he's also not our best midfielder so doesn't make sense to keep playing him in a position we have better, in-form or not.

Kouyate over Jimmy Mac for me though, only change I'd make to your team.

Arguably Wayne should get in as well, not that Guita could of done much about the 2 shots he faced on Saturday.

When Schlupp was regularly left back he was pretty rocky. His game overall has improved since then and PVA's grown worse. Maybe time for a change but I don't know if Roy will want to do that for such a big game.

Meyer should only ever be an early substitute. He can't mix it physically so best to leave him to run rings around a tired midfield.

Anybody got any news on Pape Souare? He's supposed to be back from his injury around this time.

I agree, I would start with Kouyate, Mc and Milo as midfield and introduce Meyer at 60-65 minutes.

Watford try to put pressure on teams through crosses, set pieces, long throws and winning second balls.
We need to compete in the air as well as being a threat in their box.
I can make a case for Tomkins, Dann, Kouyate and even Benteke starting.
If Benteke looks disinterested he can always be substituted.
Most of their assists come from their left back Holebas.
However, he is not great defensively and I would like Zaha to play on the right to run at him.
I would have Townsend and Meyer as options on the bench as I don’t think it will be a game that will suit them.
In many ways because of recent history I see Watford as more of a rival than Brighton and I want to win this one.

That has got to be one of the stupidest posts ever on this forum unless you are joking.

If Roy picks a weak side then he can grab his coat as far as I'm concerned. I personally want another trip to Wembley ...hopefully two. Watford are beatable and oh to knock out the Weed or Manure in the semis!! Would take the cup over staying in the prem. Just my opinion
...oh and FFS start Meyer!

If I agreed with you we'd both be wrong
