Someone please tell me what's going to happen next. A new centre Party? Or try to force the Labour Party to go through a revolution? Some big names in this group.

If they want a second referendum, I hope they rot in political nowhere land.

I don't think that Corbyn will be bothered it may actually help him. I would rather my enemies were out in the open than scheming behind my back. Some of those MPs were facing a deselection battle by the local party in favour of a pro Corbyn candidate. No need for a long drawn out battle they can now go ahead and pick a preferred candidate. At the next GE we will see if the electorate vote for the candidate or the party. It may even split the vote and let the Tories in. For now I don't think it will make any real difference to the Labour party or Brexit unless more MPs join them. Corbyn and his chums have their hands on the levers of power and they are not going to let go.

Corbyn can always invite Sinn Fein to prop him up. Same ideology these days. Open-borders multiculti antisemitic looneys. Putting the whole nation on a generous dole forever. Edited by PalazioVecchio (18 Feb 2019 11.44am)

Will the seven all stand in a By election? I doubt it the spineless scumbags, but they want a second EU vote?

What, a city yuppy who continually shows himself up by having absolutely no understanding when quizzed on the finer points of his own statements who spends most of his time whooping it up with his city mates? If he's not on the labour ticket his political career is over. They'll run another Lammy or Abbott type in his stead (thick, not a threat to leadership, on a lunch ticket and in the voter demographic for the constituency) to continue in the safe seat.

One of the only things I respect about Corbyn is he crushes his political opponents (within party) in true Maoist/Stalinist style. Not frightened of deselecting those who do not obey, so I can't see him being wobbled by this. Edited by ChrisGC (18 Feb 2019 4.50pm)

In an interview today, Chris Leslie indicated that he wouldn't, saying that the constitution dictates that voters vote for an individual and not a party etc etc etc and that with the Brexit deadline looming it would be a distraction blah, blah, blah !!!! I suspect they will all have to put themselves up for re-election or none at all.
