Not sure how Bobby came to be at Palace but I remember he was a coach here in the early 80's. Maybe Malcolm Allison brought him in during his brief second spell with us. Bobby ended up at Southend where he was manager for a season and moved onto the board. He never found the same level of success in management and before he died he was working for Capital Gold as a co commentator with Jonathon Pearce.

Moore was succeeded at Southend by Ex-Chelsea player David Webb who had 4 spells as manager at that club.
