Okay, lots to neg on about in the past few seasons, but so far this season, especially with the players he's managed to get in, I feel we ought to give him a big, loud, shout, of approval. This is a top squad. I'm thankful. Are you?

We've had a good squad for years... Sadly I think our poor runs are down to Roy's tactics
I don't need to sell my soul...he's already in me.

Huge money on Benteke hasn’t paid off (yet) but Sakho ad Tomkins really good defensive additions not to mention Townsend, Luka, Schlupp, etc. Kouyate too and maaybe Mayer too. Roy has improved the squad tactically and players are tactically more adept

It is our most successful period we have ever had, let's not lose sight of that. We are lucky to have Steve, like anyone prob has his faults but on balance the pluses out weight the negatives. I actually think the same about Roy. Hope he stays as manager for a while yet and gives us a period of stability from which we can gradually build on. We all look at examples of successful cheaper transfers other clubs have made but we tend to not notice or forget the unsuccessful ones other clubs have made. Was only last night read an article about everton's woes and their disjointed transfer activity. Several 20 mill plus flops. At best our only one is Benteke.

I’d like to shout: “Oi, Steve, do you take her up the Arsenal?!” (Her colleague Piers Morgan’s team, I believe).

Maybe she knew they were talking work and didn’t want to distract Parish from that at all. Still strange though.

I am very pleased with way he has run our club. He does his very best and those who moan we not this we're that yada yada yada. Should count themselves lucky to have not been around under Big Mal's first few seasons.

with FFP and the money in the game, we mightn't like it but we have to accept that the thing we support is as much a business as a football club. today that business does indeed allow us to have a fantastic squad. but without some exceptional player trading, I find it hard to see how things won't become harder in a 3-5 year time horizon even if we stay up in that time. hope I'm a Cassandra. certainly I'm a natural pessimist
If you want to live in a world full of kindness, respect and love, try to show these qualities. |
