Why does it have to be a month long? Months worth of drip fed paper talk rubbish, my heart skipped a beat yesterday when we were being linked with Berahino. Shorten the transfer window to one week. All negotiations can take place beforehand leaving a week for the last minute game of chicken to actually get deals over the line.

I don't think the length of the window is going to affect the amount of so called drip fed paper talk rubbish. They have it all year long.

Abolish the whole stupid fiasco. Players can be stopped from jumping from club to club just by restricting the number of different registrations they can have in a season.
