Too old at 33? I like how he moves though, I think he has a type of body that is fit to play until 36-37 at top level.

United would supposedly let him go for free as his contract is up in the summer. Depends on what salary he asks. He could still play as right winger, not necessarily right back, it's a good thing that he learnt to draw back a lot and help the defence.

He would not cost money for a transfer as opposed to Bolasie and even Moses, who went on loan to Fenerbahce but will still cost money in the summer.

Valencia looks to me fitter than the other 2 as well. Had some minor knocks in the last year but most of that was unrelated to his legs, like a fractured arm that kept him out 20 days. He did have an ankle problem several seasons back though.

It doesn’t make sense, why would he be free now, but cost money in the summer, when out of contract?

I don’t think that’s what Matteo means, Painter. I think he’s saying that if he’ll be ‘free’ in the summer then he’ll surely be free now (or possibly ‘very cheap’).

In a nut shell No to Valencia & Bolasie, As for Moses only if we sold Zaha or Townsend, but would Moses consider a return. There are more younger options out there than past players and players coming to the end of their careers.

I think he says moses will cost money in the summer, not Valencia.

Valencia's days as a winger are long gone.He hasn't played in that position for many a moon.

Is only right footed, can't use his left. His right isn't much better anymore for crosses, always hits the first man. Was converted to right-back because he isn't talented enough on the wing anymore.

So we have AWB and Ward at RB meaning Valencia would be to push Andros for a starting place, even though Andros is 2-footed and actually a winger still.

I think Bolasie is the shout here if we're looking short term wing backup. Can play either side and wages will be that of a sub player. Valencia will be one of the highest paid and on the bench to boot.

His wages are vast; and I think Everton are holding out for us to cover them all. One for negotiation as, on this occasion, we hold the whip.

I cannot recall the opponents but I have a recollection of Valencia scoring a stunner with his weaker left-foot from just inside the area.

He has continuously played as a winger for the national team. I wouldn't say he's very different from Moses, who had been reduced o right wingback role at Chelsea. But I'd prefer Valencia to Moses just by personal analysis: taller, more agile, more of a fighter, better crosser, better work rate.

You missed out, 5 years older and slower.
