What??? I like James McCarthy and think he is a good player, but he's been out for a while and surely he would leave Everton to seek regular playing time so why come when we have Luka, Jimmy, Max and Kouyate already there? Are we just linked with any out of favour Everton players? are these older rumours recirculating? Or are the media really clutching at straws? Ah well, I'll try not to stress too much! 2-0, COYP!!
Now Zaha's got a bit of green grass ahead of him here... and finds Ambrose... not a bad effort!!!! |

neither Luka nor Kouyate are attacking midfielders, Meyer is good as an attacking midfielder but a little lightweight, I like McArthur but games can pass him by, we are lacking creativity in the middle and so McCarthy would be a good addition - we need to improve our attacking options, we need more of them, Sako can put the pressure on Wilf and Andros, while McCarthy can play box to box and will improve the midfield, certainly at least in terms of genuine competition for places, Schlupp was really OK yesterday but should be way down the pecking order as a midfielder.

Have to believe this is not good for McArthur or Meyer if McCarthy comes in.

SICK NOTE! A decent player, but is very injury prone.
Let's keep the ball this season! |

Is Everton the only club with a working fax machine or something? Why cant we just leave them alone? They are racking up big losses on wages and might be forced to panic sell in the summer and we are pretty much fine right now. Lets just sign a couple of hungry youngsters as cover and let Everton panic...

What a waste of money this would be. We turned down Solanke because he wasn’t gonna be fit, and we are reportedly happy to spend 10+ mill on a bang average CM that hasn’t played this season. We have no need for him. I’d be pretty upset if this was true.

The Queen supports Crystal Palace. Perhaps she'll buy the club then legitimately all the money in England shall be ours. Plus all the swans. |
