Would love to see him get one more chance at the premier league, been a prolific goalscorer in the MLS for 5 seasons now, is 33 but still could defiantly be a great signing

I saw him in a pre season friendly playing for Charlton he was awful. Now granted that was a few years ago but if he is now a legend in the USA I think that says more about the standard of their football rather than his abilities.

Bizarre suggestion. Almost all his football has been at championship and league one level. In fact according to the stats I've seen, he only ever made one premier league start. Are you getting him confused with Shaun Wright-Philips?
