Rooney said many years ago that Rossi was the best finisher at Man Utd and there were some very good strikers at Man Utd when Rossi was there ie Van Nistelrooy,Solskjaer,Saha etc etc.Ronaldo and Scholes wre also at Man Utd when Rossi was there.

I heard Rooney was the best finisher at Man United mind you they may have been talking about eating and drinking.

He’s been impressing sir Alex Ferguson/ Ole Gunnar Solskjaer in United training recently with he’s finishing and looking sharp. 6 month deal can’t be bad?

No brainer surely? Ole gave a glowing report but said he's not for Man Utd anymore but clubs should be interested. He's only training with them as a favour to an old Youth player so Ole or United have nothing to gain by praising him. He is an excellent finisher but comes with an injury question mark. One of these days Palace have surely got to get lucky with a previously injury prone player and they go a while unscathed surely? All we really need is one of Benteke/Wickham/Rossi to be fit at any one time and not pile up injuries together. With Ayew as back up if that did actually happen. He either picks up 6 month salary which I imagine is still less than Puncheon's salary and we boot him out in May for being a free-loader or he bangs them in for Palace. Definition of win-win?
