Watched the 1st half. Thought Kirby and Flanagan showed some nice touches. I think it was Mark Bright (?) on commentary and he made the point that U23 football is a world away from the lower leagues in terms of physicality, can Kirby, for instance, adapt to that if he does go on loan to Blackpool? Woods (who was on the bench against Grimsby) and O'Dwyer looked solid at centre back.

Palace No.3, Mitchell I think,looks good,we seem to specialise in producing fine young full backs.
Also O'Dwyer could make the first team.

I think thats the point of sending these promising kids to the lower divisions on loan, they have to man up, the opposition don't have the skill levels, but they play hard because there playing for a wage to pay the mortgage etc.
