Just watching her on BBC. Great artist and a truly unique talent, however my question is this: Is Kate Bush the most beautiful women to have ever graced this planet? To me it's a yes.

I always fancied her like mad when I was a young man. She 'lucked' out on genetics, incredibly beautiful and incredibly talented both musically and artistically. Her early videos are an example of you don't need money to make compelling work....talent is the number one factor. Not a criticism but I think perhaps having brackets next to the name saying (not dead) might be an idea.

She certainly has something but as to the most beautiful... Na. Man with the child in his eyes, actually affects me in some strange way. Haunting tune. First time I played a vinyl of Wuthering heights it broke my stereo. Took it round to a friends to play it there and his stereo broke as well. Weird. So glad she's is not dead

I used to know Kate Bush! I met her a number of times in the mid-70s at various teenage ‘gatherings’ - parties etc. She lived in Welling next door to a guy in my year at my school (sadly she went to a different school - she was a year above me) hence the connection. A lovely girl and lovely parents too. Dad was a doctor, so they were quite ‘well off’. I certainly ‘would have’, as would pretty much every ‘boy’ that she met back then. However the teenage YT was far too scared of girls to have made any kind of move. Sigh! Anyway, she was a good convent school girl! By coincidence, for a while the older Kate Bush lived within walking distance of Mrs YT’s mother in Gloucestershire - near Cirencester - and more recently she has lived very close to me in Oxfordshire. I believe she’s still there. Maybe I should call on her for a chat about the old days in Welling, Bexleyheath, Erith.... She’s bound to remember me!

No one wrote pop like her, she loved her sharps and flats and ups and downs, very hard to copy and her face was the same.

Kate Bush was one of the sexiest ladies ever I agree. These day's though, I doubt she would be running up that hill, and if she did, she would probably collapse halfway up. She obviously likes a bit of pie.

It’s a yes from me as well, everyone else in my class seemed to go for Suzi Quatro or Debbie Harry, but it was always Kate on my bedroom wall, still love her music now as well
