Problem is none of us know what budget Freedman is working with or what his actual role is so it’s difficult to quantify if he’s actually doing a decent job.
I was not keen on his appointment in the role because he has no experience in the role and his main credentials seemed to be that he had played for Palace and had the trust of Parish (despite resigning in the past).
I would like to see us picking up promising Championship players such as Maddison and Brooks and it does seem that we are always seem to operate ‘on the cheap’ which is not a good long term strategy and our scouting seems less professional than other clubs.

You need to check you facts before having a go at someone. Freeman was appointed December 17, I doubt he was responsible for Sorloth and Jach so soon after being appointed, probably Hodgsons choice.
He was responsible for Bolasie, Delaney and Jedinak amongst other, more recently Kouyate and Meyer.
I would also out Jairo for Ayew, Jairo isn't a Premier player too slow.
