The rush for stocks is because next year recession is expected to resurface. The FTSE already at record levels for same reason. Bonds not seen as worthwhile and bank investments seen as poor due to likely property price crash/falls. Therefore, stocks of decent companies who regularly pay dividends seen as better/ safer investments. The current bubble caused by false money injections into black holes of economies in both US and Europe about to burst.
