Another random rumour that Valencia are set to end his loan after 1 goal in 13 games and that Chelsea have offered him to us instead. If true I hope we say no. The last thing we need is another striker low on confidence. Especially one that seems to need a dozen chances to score.

He was Conte's first signing at Chelsea for I believe £33 Mill from Marseille.He is not a conventional target man and prefers the ball to feet or into the channels.

scored goals for chelsea when he played scored goals in germany last season would have him on loan for the 2nd half of the season him & ben up top in a 442 would be great, imagine the chances bwing made by wilf & andros back in their natural positions

Also, this autumn he has also scored 4 times for Belgium in the Nations League. So, with 3 goals for Valencia and 4 for the national team, that's 7 goals in 3 months, which does not, in my opinion, mean a striker with low confidence. And he scored against good opposition: Scotland, Iceland (remember England didn't score against the in 90 minutes?), Celta Vigo. I'm pretty sure Borussia Dortmund or another top German club will want him if Chelsea recalls him from Valencia, he was outstanding there in Germany last year. I sincerely doubt he would want to come to a struggling team like Palace when he'll surely have offers from Dortmund (who don't have another striker besides Paco Alcacer), Bayer Leverkusen or RB Leipzig. A starter in the last matches for the national team ahead of Romelu Lukaku, pretty young too, very mobile, runs a lot, has great goals to minutes played percentage, would be awesome if we got him.

I'd love it if this was true but doubt we won't spend £30mill on him. Much better than Wickham, Ayew and Sorloth!!

if my memory serves me right we offered 30 million for him before he went to chelski , not worth a 30 million gamble imo, also wee would have to off load a few players to comply with ffp rules , good striker though well worth 20 mill.

My knowledge is limited to a few occasions that I've seen him. Notably in the World Cup when he squandered chance after chance. If he did come here then I hope you're right.
