I am pretty sure he has been on the thread before, but apologies, couldn’t find it. If we can release Ayew who clearly isn’t getting anywhere, then personally I think he is one of the better options. He is a talented player, has height and pace, and a fair amount of PL experience.

Think he could be a great signing. Thing is, we have nothing to lose.

Better option on the bench than Ayew.

We will probably keep Ayew all season tho.

We don't have the option to release Ayew and even if Swansea had the option to recall him I highly doubt they would.

We can have two loan players though.

To be honest I am unsure as to the Loan arrangement with Swansea. If we have to endure him to the end of the season this really is a poor piece of transfer business.Given the fact that he never trained with Swansea in pre-season I cannot see him being recalled to their team and I suspect they just want him away from the club and off their books.

Season long loan, we have to keep and pay him until the end of May.

Sometimes in season long loans there is a recall clause by the parent club but I doubt if Swansea want him back !

Let's hope some club wants to buy him off Swansea !

As for Abraham, I believe he is on a season-long loan at A.Villa.Last season he scored less goals for Swansea than Ayew did !

I already said that I highly doubt they'd recall him if they could. I'm fairly sure they didn't want or include that option.

Chelsea do have the option to recall Abraham.

Think I explained already that he was used far more as a sub than Ayew last season who only scored 7 PL goals compared to Abrahams's 5. Looking at Ayew yesterday Abraham would of been a huge improvement in a signing.

Think Roy should send a letter to Graham Potter with Ayews mid term report;

Dear Graham

Hope you are well, I see you are climbing the table nicely and that prompted me to thinking about Jordan and how he may give you just that little extra to get you into the top 6, maybe even automatic promotion come the end of the season.

So here's Jordan's mid term report.

Jordan is a nice lad although doesn't always play as well with the other boys.
He keeps the dug out very warm.
He hates being taken off - err which shows good attitude.
If he thinks we've had the ball too long, he gives it to the other team so they can play wit it - he doesn't try and get it back or nothing..!!
He's neat and tidy, he stays in one area of the pitch, so as not to cut up the rest of the pitch.
He hasn't ruffled, bulged or rippled the net since his been here - so they keep nice, neat and tidy.
Overall he is 0 from 17, so that is very consistent.

That's it in summary, so as I mentioned more than happy for you to help you out and let you have Jordan back in January.

Look forward to hearing from you.

Meantime Merry Christmas to you and yours.

Regards Roy

That should do it..
