For 6 months at least, in order to get more playing time? Would they agree to come to Palace? Would such a player help Palace score a lot of goals? I'm no manager (like you guys always remind me ), but I reckon they really could.

I was looking at Lamela's value and it has dropped considerly after his injury. He's now rated at just 20 million and even a South American team like River is thinking they could get him (news appeared this month, though he responded that he's not ready to go back to South America just yet). Pochettino still appreciates him and has welcomed him back, but with Son and Eriksen in great shape on the wings and Lucas Moura a great substitute and even Dele Alli or Sissoko able to cover there, Lamela might find his options limited. Stranger loans have happened for PL players who wanted minutes, Sturridge just last year to WBA.

28 goals and assists for Tottenham in 3200 minutes in the last 2 years, definitely the best of the players in the title and the hardest to get. Would only be a short stay until the summer as he wouldn't want to stay here permanently and I don't really like getting players we can't buy (they leave a hole for next year), but maybe if the situation is desperate after the holidays we should push for a move... Only problem is that his injury could return, though he has looked great since coming back: 6 goals and 2 assists this season alone.

Another Argentine of a similar height and built, which, like Lamela's, make him pwrfect for the Premier League, and similar age (24), is Joaquin Correa. I really thought this guy will be going far and be a new Cristiano Ronaldo when I saw him playing for Sevilla. Imagine my surprise when they sold him in the summer to Lazio for just 15 million. He has been involved in every match for them, but got only 2 starts and totals just 600 minutes this season so far. If Lazio would like to loan or sell him to get their money back, we should tempt him with first team Premier League football.
31 goals and assists in 5100 minutes for Sevilla and Lazio the last 2 years.

Yet another tall, powerful and fast Argentine is Lucas Ocampos from Marseille. As the French team was eliminated from Europe, maybe they have to cut their losses short and sell some player so a team has a chance to get Ocampos on loan with an option to buy of up to 20 million.
28 goals and assists in 6500 minutes, a little less than one every 200 minutes, but I think he can improve as he has also had good nimbers in previous seasons. Good age too at 24.

If not them, then at least try to get Spaniard Cristian Tello from Betis. Strong as an ox, 29 goals and assists in 5500 monutes the last 2 years for Betis and Fiorentina, could have done more if not used as wingback sometimes. Raised by Barcelona. Valued at just 6 million. 7 goals and assists this season alone for Betis in the La Liga and the Europa League.

I'd have added Konoplyanka from Schalke if not for age (29) and very high salary.

So, what dayya guys think? I've tried to only mention players who have been constant, close to 15 goals or assists per season.

Lamela is better than Lucas. Spurs don't have a great squad. No chance they're letting Lamela go, especially on loan.
