Have to say watching these riots fills me with hope.

The whole movement seems to have moved well beyond fuel prices and become anti globalist. A weird alliance of yellow vests and antifa and strange scenes such as police appearing to come out in support of the rioters. Love the French in these situations and I have a glimmer of hope that this could start something bigger across Europe. Hearing them singing their national anthem almost brought a tear to me eye.

I just wonder whether a crap exit deal or decision on a second referendum might trigger something similar here. I would certainly get up off my ass and show up to a demonstration.

Would be very interested to hear people’s thoughts on this but my thoughts go to those turning up tomorrow in Paris.

Vive La France!!!!

Far from peaceful apparently, have not people been seriously injured in the riots?
Surely you dont want the t***s over here to have another excuse to smash shops , property up & loot.

Kids, tired of being bothered by your pesky parents?
Then leave home, get a job & pay your own bills, while you still know everything.

You emmediatley leap to the conclusion that they are *all* there purely to cause violence? It seems from various reports that was mostly led by the far left antifa mob and I agree there is a danger there will be more deaths. Nobody wants violence but we need change real democracy and not a choice between self interested politicians.

You are so jealous.
Get real.
People have died and you give it a whoopee moment.
Not everyone is equal and you need to accept that.
What is happening in france is how the war in syria started and that's ending well isnt it.
Anarchy is not the way.
You get a vote.
Use it.

The only thing that will bring real change is mass withholding of taxes.

But everyone should have an equal opportunity and that is something that we should all be fighting for.

What utter pish.

Macron was elected democratically and recently.
Bashar al-Assad by comparison came to power upon the death of his father.

Ask the Barclay Brothers and Amber Rudd how it's done, they're quite good at it. For most people on PAYE however it is a bit harder.
