Being and 02 customer of several years I think after this debacle it is time that ofcom hit them with a big fine and compulsory compensation automaitcally paid out to its customers.
I have had to put up with a low or no data signal where I spend most of my time because of a radio mast problem that has not been solved in nearly 4 weeks. O2 have told me that we do not guarantee a fault free service and will not compensate me in any form.
They deserve any punishment coming to them.
You buy data on a monthly contract but they will not roll it over..Indian givers !
Told them I will not renew the contract when its due and they dont care.
Anyone else think we need a shake up in the telecoms industry.? Ofcom will not deal with individual complaints as far as I understand it.

Heard their CEO getting interviewed in five live this evening and he sounded entirely clueless -didn't know who was affected or how and kept getting caught lying.

Lazy incompetent fat cat.

Its just that if I by a CD and dont watch it should I be upset if the record shop takes it back off me ?
I dont think its much to ask to have a data rollover in some format and I dont expect to keep it building up forver.

Also when I worked in IT if I rolled out software that failed apart from heads rolling..the software would be rolled back quickly asap so I would expect all to be fine by 24hours. Let see !

If you don't like the terms and conditions then you have the option of using someone else who's terms you do find acceptable

Usual sympathetic response from this poster.

Of course if you have a contract with a mobile phone company you are stuck with it for the minimum period and if you want out before that period expires they can take you to the cleaners.

So although some networks do allow data allowances to be rolled forward ...

... if you're not at or near the end of your minimum contract period they have pretty much got you by the balls.

It looks as if the data is working on my phone now but I still can't send text messages.

Why is no one blaming the Russians? Or the Chinese? Got to be one or other of them behind it.

It's 106 miles to Chicago, we got a full tank of gas, half a pack of cigarettes, it's dark... and we're wearing sunglasses.

Not many companies roll over data, I'm with Three and they don't. Got rid of O2 years ago thankfully.

Sky roll it over. The trouble for you is that O2 provide it to them.

At least mine contained an argument and even some evidence.
