So, a fine three points Got to say we were so much the better side, but it still became worrying when we couldn't score our second goal. Meyer had a great start to the game but IMO he tailed off, stopped with his forward runs and drew in his horns Wilf prone to being over-twiddly but did remarkably to get several shots off in a packed area. Townsend quite a focal point but other teams know he doesn't have a right foot and mostly manage to shut him down as a result. PVA also hamstrung by being so one-footed, had a good chance that he probably should have buried with a decent right foot. Sakho his usual self, a couple of heart in mouth moments but adds so much to the play. Tomkins great, Luka solid. The HF were back. It did make me realise how much of the noise does get lost by them being at the front of B Block. They tried really hard but not quite back to our best singing yet. Still, a good atmosphere and a great day.

Today was a complete performance, as much as we will see this season at home. Wilf's scoring boots were not quite on today, but he did well today anyway and without him - would we have won? The stats would say no. Very happy with the team and performance!

Good post and it was great to see us playing some excellent attacking football, it could easily have been 5 or 6

Feel Meyer and Kouyate really bedding in and becoming effective. We clearly try to get it to a player in an inside right or inside left position and then dink it to a player as he cuts in behind a full back. Seems so hard to stop. I hope we don't get sussed out as it works with our set up. I feel Wilf is trying to change his game with more tricks and flicks and fewer dribbles. Here's hoping he truly masters his new art on Tuesday.

That must be a huge positive in relation to the teams around us.
