West Street will be great if you fancy being kettled in again, arrive after the start and then not let in. Best to drink at East Croydon and/or Lewis. Or if you want to drink in Brighton try to skip the kettle and share a cab to the Amex.
It's 106 miles to Chicago, we got a full tank of gas, half a pack of cigarettes, it's dark... and we're wearing sunglasses. |

I’d imagine it will be a right hassle drinking in town after all the nonsense last year. I’m just gonna get to the ground early and have a beer in there. No interest in being kettled and missing the start.

The police last year did try to herd me and others onto a London bound train and I was lucky that the copper I spoke to had the common sense to let me get home via a Brighton train
