Apparently an airline employee in USA had the temerity to laugh at a child's name as for some reason or other she found the name abcde amusing. As usual when the mother complained it was her five year old with the stupid name that wanted to know why the airline employee was laughing at her name. It's a shame that the mother wasn't truthful enough to tell her daughter that it was because she had landed her with a daft moniker. Personally I think it is just giving the poor child a taste of what she can expect in her life as she is bound to be the recipient of plenty of s******ing at school and later

For once I am on the side of the mother. It maybe a silly name but the employee is supposed to have taken a photo of the kid posted it on social media with mocking comments. I think that is taking things too far. If it was just a case of the employee stumbling over the kid's name and the mother complaining that is a different matter we have all done that. On the subject of silly names I once saw an article where it listed Pop star's names for their kids e.g. "Moon Unit 2".
