We look pretty crap this season but fortunately there are still a few teams that are trying to be crapper than us.

Huddersfield, Cardiff,Newcastle and Fulham currently look worse than us. I am hoping that none of these teams have a good run in the next 3 games, that said by some miracle we could lose the next 3 and still be out of the relegation zone.

Out of those teams I would have to say that Fulham and Newcastle may turn their fortune round.

What does everyone else think? Yes, it's early to be looking down the table but 10 games in is often a good indication to how the season should pan out.

I should hope that we can finish comfortably ahead of Huddersfield and Cardiff. Fulham need to sort out their defence but they have good attacking players. Southampton are a pretty medicore team but should be able to scrape survival. Newcastle should survive if Ashley decides to invest in January, but they're in trouble currently.

I'm very concerned about us, but right now you'd put money on Cardiff, Huddersfield, Newcastle and Fulham to be relegated rather than us. If we get one of our strikers up and firing (not likely) or buy a goalscorer in January (even less likely) we'll be perfectly fine, but as it is we should be able to scrape survival ahead of some underwhelming opposition.

I believe we will stay up but I think we will limp over the finish line and only finish a couple of points better off than the three that go. That is my opinion. I will be shocked if we spend a penny more than we make in outgoing transfers in January. And this is why I expect Roy to quit next summer.

I think it will be the lowest points ever for staying up cant see Cardiff, Huddersfield, Fulham or Newcastle getting 25 points

Newcastle will buy in January with the purpose of staying up. Ashley won't want the value to drop if he still wants to sell.

Fulham will improve defensively and they already have good scoring options.

Huddersfield and Cardiff look unlikely to improve but we can't rely on that.

We have big problems scoring and that has been the case for well over a season now.

We can't keep saying that there are enough teams worse than us so we'll be ok. If we do we may be sleep walking to relegation.

I'm worried that we're cut adrift from the top half by 7 points already.

I do agree that there do appear to be worse teams. Fulham may have Mitrovic but their defence is hopeless. Ings looks like Benteke at the moment, can't score.

There is hope

WE ARE GOING DOWN THIS SEASON!! No goals equals no points! Can anyone see where goals are coming from? Certainly not Benteke or Sorloth!!

Be more generous and say 30 points. Cardiff look like a Championship squad, Fulhams defence doesn't look up to it and has to be strengthened in Jan or a new manager for them to sort it out which won't happen overnight, Newcastle ongoing problems on and off the pitch, the Udders nothing up front like us. Throw in Soton there as well as they are spluttering at the moment.

Moving into sacking season now. Think Fulham will move first, then transfers in Jan.

Fulham have a long way to go to turn it around. Dreadful team with a sieve of a defence.

I think Swansea is worst, then Fulham.

At the moment, I think we're comparable to Newcastle, Southampton, and even Huddersfield. I don't see Newcastle going down. We'll be battling S'ton and Huddersfield.

We've scored 5 goals so far FFS, how good are we? And after the next 4 games we will almost certainly be in the relegation zone, possibly even 20th.

If Wilf gets hurt this season, which happens often, I'm not sure we could get a result against Swansea.

We've been very lucky so far with the results from other bad teams. They lose to mid-table teams, and draw against each other.

I'm sorry, but I really don't see any silver linings in our current squad. Our starting 11 is worse than last year, and it came down to the second to last game then.

I don't think we'll be relegated, but I can easily see this season go straight into the toilet too.

2018 Jan. (Sako) Palace 1 - 0 Burnley
2019 May (Batshuayi, Batshuayi, OG, Van Aanholt, Townsend) Palace 5 - 3 Bournemouth
2020 Feb. (Van Aanholt) Palace 1 - 0 Newcastle

You mean Cardiff ... the Swans went down last year. If we don't start putting away some goals and racking up some points then we'll be joining them.
