Has anyone been able to watch anything on the sky go app without it stuttering and jumping around? I'm planning on watching the game tomorrow night on it but I honestly think I can find an illegal stream that works better than this rubbish app!

Never had a problem with mine, in fact it was a nice back up for our game at Watford, because the wind and rain was playing my dish up, excellent picture on my phone though!!

It's fairly s***; it keeps freezing and crashing. Asked Sky about it and they said "it's your ISP's fault. Who's your ISP?" To which the answer is "You are, HTH".

But I generally manage with it.

Same is true of the BT app except that if your ISP is BT then you're goosed.

Watched the Ryder Cup on the Sky app and it was just as it is now watching Palace, pants. Stuttering sound most of the time and a poor picture for (too many!) short periods.
For comparison, we watched the Che v Liv game on Saturday via the BT app and it was 99% perfect.

It tends to start badly with echo on the commentary but seems to calm down after a few minutes.
I'm running on a laptop and I have to shutdown everything else in the background.
Picture quality is good.

I had a few problems along these lines recently with SkyGo, but just reinstalled it and it worked fine. If it's not that then maybe you have a flaky internet connection.

Despite being a bit of a fossil when it comes to apps and the like, I did install EverNote, and also a White Noise app the other day. The latter is useful for us insomniacs!

Another thing it depends on the device you are using as well.

Seen people using really low end hardware and then wonder why they are having problems.

Does it have a buffer option? If not why not.

If I have a dodgy stream I set the buffer option to 30 secs assuming the player allows that. This means I am 30 secs behind live play but the player stores the data before showing it to me normally this smooths out any picture problems.

I often do this with the will it won't it cut out boxing streams. It's served me well on occasion! Any half decent internet connection should be able to run GoSky nowadays really though.
