Luka delivery was rubbish today. Should have let Townsend or PVA have a go.

Milivojevic is now doing the Cabaye job, which means his set pieces have to be s*** instead of the quality balls he was sending in last season. In all seriousness though today he took all of them and precisely one of them - the one that hit the post - was actually respectable. The rest were toilet.

When he gets them right, the one that hit the post, the one for Ward at Watford and Benteke against Southampton, they're great. Problem is for every one of those there are ten poor deliveries. We largely dominated the game but only created a couple of good chances from open play and didn't take them. We did have Newcastle under pressure though, and plenty of opportunity to get a good ball into the box, but we kept letting them off the hook.
Employee of the month is a good example of how someone can be both a winner and a loser at the same time. |

Surely andros should be on corners? Luka should be in the box winning headers.

Would be nice to see a bit of creativity in our set plays... Thinking Southgate and England actually have a few different options...

I also felt our corner taking was poor yesterday. Whilst I'm not saying it's easy hear is a great example of taking corners the uncomplicated way. Taken by Cabaye, won on the near post by Delanie then headed in at the far post by Bolasie. I'm sure a lot of goals are scored from corners by winning the ball at the near post 1st.
The pyramid to beat all pyramids!! Find out what team is in which division, eg which division is Coppull United in? |

Another annoying thing is our throw ins, working the line. Always give up possession from our throw ins through lack of option and movement.

Corners are statistically not a good way of scoring goals; Not many teams have much more than 6% of their corners actually leading to a goal. ..so it doesn;t help when the majority of our deliveries are poor.... taken from May2017, but [Link]
