I've been threatened with a ban for using the word "cobblers",which appears to offend a few sensitive souls.
Yet in one post when i pointed out how well Celtic handle their safe standing policy,a poster suggested that meant I was in favour of the slaughter of women and children,and that post is acceptable ?
It seems a very skewed way of enforcing the rules.
I have not been malicious or fouled mouthed like many.
To be honest I believe in free speech,so I don't really care if I get banned from this Orwellian message board.

To be fair, you did say it about 452 billion times in response to the most innocuous of posts.

It's funny but when I pointed out that fans on this board were calling others "retards" or "fecking morons" and it might be better for this thread to be closed I was informed by the Moderator he doesn't read every post on this thread and yet he is quick enough to give you a yellow when you haven't sworn or called anybody names.

One of the rules is that we can slag off the club but not other posters yet this is now a 150+ page thread full of fans doing just that. It begs the question why are the Mods allowing it to continue because I don't see the situation improving anytime soon!

Talking of rule breaking, allow me to remind you of Rule 22:

"We have a team of moderators who manage the various discussion forums. Please treat them with courtesy and respect. Remember, moderator decisions are final and discussions regarding their actions are not permitted on the forums. Members must not question their judgements as they are far too busy to enter into debates or arguments. If you continue to do so, you may be banned from the website"

Please revert to your previous persona of commenting on topics constructively, rather than a series of comments and single words that add nothing to the discussion. Your contributions are generally valued and personally, I wouldn't wish to see you banned.

Don't you just love it when people twist things round to suit themselves.

Firstly bicycle repair man was not warned for using the word cobblers but for posting the one word reply time after time in the same thread and continuing to do so after I had asked him to stop.

In response to PZ Eagle's half truth, whilst I did say what he was suggesting, he conveniently missed out the fact that I also said that if he was unhappy with any post he should report it whereupon it will attract the attention of all the moderators who will do whatever is necessary

It would be inappropriate to moderate the politics (small 'p') of content, no matter how offensive some may find other's opinions, unless they are libellous, illegal or likely to bring the site into disrepute.

I'll expect the thought police to be knocking at my door any moment,how dare I question the all knowing,fair minded moderator.
