I think she has done a disservice to her sex and race by claiming she is a victim. The real reason she had a meltdown was she that was losing. As soon as you start calling the officials cheats and liars you will be in big trouble regardless of your race or gender. The umpire warned her (just warned) because her coach was "coaching" from the stands. After the game the coach confirmed this so how does that make the umpire a liar and a cheat. Everything that happened after that was down to her and the umpire had no choice but to penalise her behaviour. I would hope that in the coming days she calms down and withdraws her comments.

Yep, that one in 2009 when she told the line judge (female) that she'd "shove a tennis ball down your throat." after being correctly foot faulted. Or again in 2011, against Sam Stosur, when she told the chair umpire (female) "You're a hater, and you're just unattractive inside." after a correct code violation. Ramos didn't make an incorrect call on all 3 occasions yet she called him "a liar", "a thief", that "you will never be on a court of mine again" and also implied that players without children would be more likely to cheat. By the way, she lost. As in all the other examples. Obfuscation every time.

I'd hope she gets a lengthy ban from the game, not an opportunity to apologise and make it all about her once again. Because she "hugged" her opponent upon losing and belatedly put her arm around the winner, while she was crying during the presentation, and then told her crowd "let's stop booing" after it had gone on for ages, she is somehow being praised by the Americans and her other fans. f*** right off. You ruined someone's greatest moment.

The worst thing was accusing him of being sexist for applying the rules correctly. Her opponent was also female. Acting in a disgusting manner then claiming she’s doing it for women’s rights?!!! Absolute t***. Victimised feminist bulls*** that harms her adopted cause if anything. If these things are regularly ignored in the men’s game fair enough to make a point but not in the personal way she did. She’s massively gone down in my estimations. Warrants a substantial wrist slap.

Thoroughly deserved. It would've been if it was aimed at Williams, but it wasn't. I hope she gets booed at every match in the future, if she isn't banned from playing.
