I had a 'friend of a friend' in Forest Hill, who was Miii, and so dis-liked Palace fans, he couldn't stand being in my company.
The bloke was self-employed, and his hatred of Palace was such, that I wondered if he turned down work on the basis of football allegiance. He wasn't the sharpest tool in the box.

I once found myself driving along, when a youngster up ahead was walking across a zebra crossing. He was wearing a Brighton shirt, and I subconsciously hit the accelerator to aim at said pedestrian. Hitting the brakes, I thought 'what the fck was I doing ?'

I dropped off a relative at Gatwick on Saturday. He was in a wheelchair, waiting to be taken to the boarding lounge, when all of a sudden another 'wheelie' was positioned opposite us. His disability didn't irk me, or the dark colour of his skin. BUT, he was wearing a Southampton FC baseball cap. WTF?

I think because it's not in the vicinity of a football ground, it catches me off-guard, particularly on match days.

I totally agree, trouble is, knowing our HOL family, that aint never going to happen. Someone will always use it for their own gains & it all descends into a slanging match.

On the chest of drawers at the end of one of the banks of desks in my office there is a sort of rose water bowl thing that's festooned with the colours and logos of Wet Spam.

I thought I moved up here to get away from that kind of s***. Haven't found out whose it is yet.
