All Premier League games on the 15/09/18 15.00 kick offs will have VAR as a trial. These games are.

Bournemouth v Leicester City
Huddersfield Town v Crystal Palace
Chelsea v Cardiff City
Man City v Fulham
Newcastle United v Arsenal.

Be interesting.

Would it not be fairer to have it in all games?

What do they think on your club's forum?

Haha, there won't be enough time in the day for the Huddersfield game with all the stoppages, either that or there won't be any of their players left on the pitch after the first half. A win by default is my prediction.

I suspect that there’s a cynical intent in not trialling VAR in any game involving two of the ‘big boys’. I’m not sure what the intent is...but I know it’ll be cynical!

Anyway...VAR per se doesn’t need to be trialled - or you could say it’s been trialled sufficiently already - . It’s the people who make the decisions based on the VAR images that need to be trialled. Or in the case of some decisions made, they need to be put on trial!

Towards the end of the World Cup, VAR seemed to be working quite well, much better than in earlier games.

Hopefully it will dissuade Huddersfield players from trying to hurt Wilf, as Watford did this season and Huddersfield succeeded in doing last season.

It's 106 miles to Chicago, we got a full tank of gas, half a pack of cigarettes, it's dark... and we're wearing sunglasses.

Haven’t we established on another thread that Wilf won’t be playing?

My understanding is that they will be testing it but not actually speaking to the officials, to see if they can cope with multiple matches

My apologies, no link, BUT just read a line on this from Mirror/SSN that there will be NO communication between match officials & VAR . . . WTF!

If this is true, whats the point of it & what good could/will it do. So, HTFC could foul/kick us all over the park as they did opening day last season, but, VAR wont give the Ref or us any help whatsoever.

EDIT, soz, just seen Rossboss post
