That pass towards right back/wing and into 2 Liverpool players in the first half was something you’d see a sub do who’s not at the required level. But then I remember when he put Wardy under pressure in the final minutes with a pass to him by the post at the wh end just after joining under sam and then matches after his passes from box to Wilf on the wing were top draw.

He does need to keep it simple and sensible I agree.

Great player just baffles me why we would try and take the ball down with his chest and play it across the box full of opposition players when he could clearly just header the ball clear.

I think we would be lost without him at the back he's one of the best centre backs we've had in a while without him I think we would concede a lot more goals then we do

He gave the penalty away and a couple of times passed straight to th opposition. That said his record playing alongside Tompkins is remarkable.
