Sorry to moan, but the catering's gone down in the Holmesdale.

Not to mention the absence of the burger van, the fct that the Red and Blue had run out of Palace Ale before the match, and the food outlets on the lower concourse had run out of food by the end of half time. Poor.
All good. Nothing bad. |

On HOL I have read about problems supporters have experienced in the Red and Blue bar, in the Arthur Wait and the Stephenson. This is totally unacceptable.Supporters pay hard earned money for their seats and they deserve far better.

It's not there for those that aren't bothered or can't figure why anyone would pay good money rather than eat early. It's there for those who fancy a pint and a bit of grub at the ground - getting it right, with modest planning, should be simple.

It's a joke that the club can't get this sorted, it's not rocket science FFS. Absolutely laughable that something so simple appears beyond their ability to organise, and has been for years.

What's even more surprising is that in the pub trade, it's the catering and snacks side that brings in the money to support the bars in most cases. Surely, employing their own catering staff (or a separate but wholly owned subsidiary company) and producing decent quality food, in good quantities at reasonable prices should be a doddle to anyone with experience in the trade. Would be another nice little earner for the club, but like the club shop, they just don't seem to be able to do it.

Especially poor on a night game, when people are rushing to the ground straight from work, Hank Marvin.

A joke and feeling decidedly ill today after a veggie pasty Only had 3 months to prepare Does this sum up the non football management side of the club. Links to HF and the season ticket renewal fiasco

This post has been merged from a topic called 'Why are the bars in the Holmesdale useless' by Midlands Eagle A new season is here....! We all arrive to our chosen home of football with great hope that the club have finally sorted the one thing that keeps supporters happy a steady flow of Ale / lager / whatever liquid libation you fancy right ? After all outside the ground there’s few places left that are not 4 deep at the bar now as pubs have closed locally sadly...! On arrival your anticipation/ expectations are muted as you can see it’s the same old same old... no effort by the club to organise train the bar staff ( for the very few that did bother turning up) no management or accountability 8 deep + at the bars can’t get served b4 second half starts a s*^%t show yet again... really and I thought one of the owners was a vintner... Well done the board for sorting the important business on the pitch Now please listen to your fans n customers n sort these shoddy bars out get a company in that can organise a pi.s up in a brewery They manage amazingly at craven cottage really well Suggestions get the team pop loads of caps off the s***e beer just b4 half time pour fifty pints ready for the thirsty fans who have just sang there heart out for the boys n get their vocal cords ready for the second half Any thoughts dear ladies n gentlemen?? Anyone got any great suggestions to improve this important part of Palace life for the majority ?

To be honest I gave up on the clubs ability to satisfy my thirst and hunger years ago .The continued poor quality food and weak piss poor and oft warm beer has led me to change my match day routine .
