My daughter (ST holder LH)is flying out to Boston on Sunday and gutted she will be missing our first 2 home games this season. She is not 100% if she will still be in Boston or will have moved on to Rhode Island by Monday so if anyone knows bars there too that would be great. Thanks in advanced for any help.

"Cheers" would have been a great place to watch the game - if it weren't fictional

As for bars..."The Greatest Bar in the world" was a 3 storey sports bar when i went 6years ago Edited by Lyons550 (14 Aug 2018 3.50pm)

Where in Boston is she staying? There are two Cheers bar's in Boston. The main one on Beacon Street and a small one on the outside of Quincy Market. I would not recommend either for watching a Palace game. You are likely not to see any footy in there.
The Black Rose (https://www.blackroseboston.com/) If she's in Cambridge, then she should try: The Plough and Stars (https://www.ploughandstars.com/) Slightly further out there's another good option: The Banshee (http://bansheeboston.com/) My advise for watching games in the USA in a pub: call or email the pub and confirm ahead of time that they are showing the game. Hope this helps you/her Edited by Simply_Dutch (15 Aug 2018 10.53am) Edited by Simply_Dutch (15 Aug 2018 10.54am)

Cagney n Lacey, kojac etc..

I was over in Boston in July and caught a couple of the England games in McGreevy's sports bar 903 Boyleston Street. It has 3 floors and plenty of room plus centrally located and was friendly. I think the evening games in Russia kicked off just after lunch time in Boston so a bit of a mixed crowd with a lot of office workers having a late lunch plus a mixed bag of tourists.
