Another option, Riedewald + approx. £7M (a little pricey) could capture him. Would allow Zaha more freedom to play up front maybe.

I’m assuming your “in sales” has nothing to do with football. For me none of the club valuations make sense, the worlds gone mad. However based on what other players are going for if I was WBA it’s probably about where I would value him. Originally posted by JohnB

I thought he looked good pre-season and Roy certainly gave him some game time. I do wonder if JR has been vocal and rocking the boat about not playing regularly and is therefore disrupting team unity.

I'd say with the two new signings and Puncheon and Williams back fit we at least have numbers in midfield and there are other areas of pitch e.g a wide player where we are less well stocked. So selling a relatively desirable bench player as part of a swap has some merit in theory especially if they can get a midfielder on loan
