Are any other Palace getting fed up with media conspiracy and how they are trying to undermine Palace. In particular the Daily Mirror and Talksport. The latter comes as no surprise. But the Mirror every transfer window looks to spread false rumours. They have spent the whole summer coming up with false claims for Townsend, Luka, Roy and all have been rubbish. But their relentless attempts to suggest Wilf is on the verge of leaving, putting in a transfer request to openly saying he wants to engineer a move to Spurs, Everton, Dortmund and now Chelsea is just ridiculous. Lets start rubbishing them back. Who is the sports editor and is he a Brighton, Charlton or Chelsea fan. Whoever he is he is pathetic. Rant over. So excited for the new season great signings too.

They see it as their role to fuel the thirst for rumour. They don’t actually influence anything.

I like the way you correctly assume no Millwall fan is intelligent enough to have that job.

have a heart - their business model has completely collapsed over the last ten years with most getting their news for free over the internet all these 'journalists' can do now is invent the best click bait they can to attract a couple of hits from anxiety ridden football fans so they can look at some pointless online ad obscuring some badly written lies being a hack has rarely been a noble profession but now they are really in the gutter trying scrape together a living out of pedalling fabricated stories we should really pity them - once they influenced the views of the nation - now they can only regurgitate the fantasies of teenage twitter accounts and call it 'news'

Unfortunatly, This is just the Media doing what they do, Zaha is a big story this summer and Townsend a big name. If they think it will get clicks/sell Papers they will print it. It's nothing against us specifically, - and in a twisted kind of way its a compliment as it means they think we are of interest, and the likes of Brighton, watford, huddersfield etc aren't. I despise the Tabloid media, they will print anything and then will not be held accountable as they are just reporting what they've been told, Hiding behind the Freedom of the press. they do this regardless of how credible/made up that story is, often with little or no actual journalism. They sensationalise headlines which often have little or no relevance to the article they write. Because of this, they are regularly used by Agents to engineer a move/better contract for their players, and the Media lap it up. Something should be done about it, trouble is, I'm not sure there is anything we can do.

They embellish or even Create stories to garner clicks and have no problems doing it. They still have a huge amount of influence over the views of the nation, often acting as judge jury and exectioner. you've just got to look at the Various England Managers jobs for that. They then give themselves a huge pat On the back "Look what we did, we exposed this, Aren't we great!". So no, So sympathy or pity at all from here.

Sunbets folded recently and returned all funds to customers. Someone may buy them and relaunch.

Take a look at their financial results. It's no wonder they'll write anything they can come up with.

I also don’t recall many casino/slots ads on tv which should be banned. Funnily enough they made me win only on horses and wouldn’t allow anything over about 4 or 5/1. I then started winning even more with a very very good ROU hit rate with them and they still took my bets ha ha ha. Edited by Rudi Hedman (03 Aug 2018 1.32pm)
