The Mirror, Yes I know, Has reported that Chelsea are willing to let Olivier Giroud go, reports fee Chelsea asking is £20m. Now here is a player I would love to see in a Palace shirt. At 31 still good enough 3 goals 18 apperences for Chelsea. If reports are true and we are paying Max Meyer £170k a week. Something to think about.

From what ive read think max is getting paid closer to 80k a week, regarding giroud, got to be worth an enquiry at least, his link up play is exceptional and generally scores a few, think it would be more whether he would drop to a club palaces size!

Not sure quoting 3 goals in 18 games for a top six side is a great reason to sign him....

Although he is a good player he’s not a prolific scorer and really we have a good hard working front man already that doesn’t score many. Definitely don’t think we need another.

Might only be £20m but imagine his wages will be sky high.

He would fit our system perfectly but couldn't see this happening. He would provide Townsend and Zaha with so many chances, absolute beast and the perfect target man despite his lack of goals.

I think we need another striker, We all know Benteke problem which I think he will work hard on and have every faith that he will come good.
As I mentioned in a previous post Alexander Sørloth I think would benefit go out on loan to a Championship club, Wickham Is a risk a huge risk. Ings in my eyes is in the same category.

Giroud signed an 18 month contract with Chelsea, he might be 31 but 73 goals in 180 appearances for Arsenal and 3 for Chelsea in 18 most being a sub is not a bad return. Islam Slimani ifhe would come is another I would sign at a drop of a hat.

Giroud is fine but everything about Abrahams fits, not least 10 years younger and can be fully fit for years.
