A long shot I appreciate but are there any Palace fans based in Lima Peru?

I have the opportunity to go on an Expat package for 2-3 years and was wondering if I will be the only one in the country (other than my kids) who supports Palace.

If anyone out there does exist then it would be great to know if any Palace games are shown and where.

If ever anyone’s going to get a non-Palace football shirt, that’s the one to get!!

I always get a shirt for my six year old when I go away for work. That one is a classic. Bring back the sash!

There’s a Palace fan in Peru on the bbs. I can’t remember his name but I think he has a picture of David Niven on his personal image thing.

Actually I think it’s Santiago in chile. I think Peruvians in London are closer to the river in SE London.

In most Latin Am. countries you get a deal with a satellite TV company, and they will come and install a dish for free within days.

Premier League is very popular and a package that includes all the matches and 100 or so mostly international channels including BBC news is relatively cheap. Even in seemingly poor neighbourhoods you'll see a lot of satellite dishes.

I just googled it for Peru, it's called Direct TV. Here is the link

It looks like the most expensive package is 75 soles i.e. 17 quid a month, but you might not have to pay that much.

Scotland thought that in 1978, but just how wrong they were!

If there are any Palace fans there, they will know, as the music to the x-files get louder in the back ground as I write this.
