Which keeper will be between the sticks this season? It's obviously out of Guaita and Hennessey with Speroni as 3rd choice but who will be 1st?

Too early to tell, but if I were a reader of the runes I'd say Roy has a slight bias to Hennessey. He's got two more games to make up his mind.

Wayne was awful again against Oxford...

Guaita needs time to settle in tho so he won't be first choice straight away.

No he wasn't. He was beaten by one clever move from a striker. Other than that neither keepers had anything to do, but Guaita, like Mandanda before him, put the defence under pressure with an excess of rollouts.

The way he came out and just done that stupid jump was terrible..

Remember on The Simpsons the "no homer" club.

I would have my granny in ahead of Wayne, he cannot be trusted despite some strong displays towards the of last year.

If we bought one of the best keepers in La Liga to warm the bench in deference of Wayne Hennessey, then shoot me now.

Roy has played the new boy v Stevenage with the full defence. That says much

As I understand it he has been using an interpreter like the Infanta of Spain at her wedding to Prince Edmund. "Shut up!" - (to the crowd behind) ¡Silencio!

i doubt Guiata has moved from first choice at Getafe to be back up for WH. Am hoping hopes beyond hopes that WH is at best on the bench.

TBH I don't really care, I just hope the best of the 2 is picked and I'm sure Roy will know pretty quickly who is No 1 and who is No 2

Nice of you to reply on this thread, as you dont care

I care, I want to have a keeper who wins points for us, maybe 10 points a year.

There is no way on God's green earth that we have signed one of the best goalies in La Liga to be backup to Wayne Hennessey.

He may not start him immediately but before long it will be King Vicente between the sticks.
