It has become almost impossible to say how Palace will fare in the coming season. Anything from optimism to despair is the understandable position for most of us.
So Palace are not going to Change their squad much, by the look of it so with a better start (how could it be worse), less injuries and a little better form, it should be easier to improve on last term. Haha, shouldn't it?
So forgetting about Palace, what other club will do what? West Ham to splutter like a box of expensive fireworks in the rain is a good guess. Cardiff to get rid of our old manager is a good bet too. Bournemouth to improve even more but one of top lot to have an appalling time, say Arsenal, even, perhaps Liverpool.
Best bets for the drop? Cardiff and Newcastle. Both all talk no class. Shelvey to Palace just before the deadline? I wouldnt rule that out with Andros in the mix. Wilf? At least half a season left with us before he goes into oblivion elsewhere. Only we know how good he is and how to motivate this Luvlie lad.

I reckon we will flirt with relegation and either just stay up or go down on the last day of the season. Teams to do badly unexpectedly - I think Burnley and Bournemouth may be hugely overrated. Cardiff seem to have no chance. The title looks like Man City's again but I would think Liverpool and Man U will push them more than last season.
Chelsea and Arsenal will not do that well, nor will Everton.
West Ham have invested enough to be mid-table.

In answer to your original question, there are almost too many unresolved issues at the moment to answer it. Who we sign/loan, will Zaha still be here (or Townsend or whoever) and whether Roy decides to walk.

I don't follow what other teams are doing well enough to comment on their chances.

With reference to the other clubs, well nonody can really say, can they. But its worth a punt and a laugh Dave. Nobody is gonna string me up for a hunch. Just the fun of talking football

I think it'll be City again for the title but Liverpool will push them closer finishing 3 or 4 points behind.

One of the big guns will have an average season, I'm going for Man Utd.

Although I'd love to see Wet Spam struggle again having spent as much as they have they'll be top 10.

Wolves will surprise a few people and do quite well.

Cardiff, Fulham and Huddersfield to drop.

Who know's what Palace will do? I fear another season looking over our shoulder beckons, I'd love to have a boring, comfortable mid table season.

Forgot about Wolves; think they will stay up. That means a relatively 'established' Premier League side will go down. Also feel Fulham may give it a good go. Think that it is a terrible first fixture for us. A bit like last season - promoted sides have momentum. We will lose our opening fixture and there will be initial doom and gloom - warranted or not.

I remember (was it 2013/14!) when come January I knew there would be no winter nerves. What an enjoyable season!

Always remembering walking from the Holmesdale to the Whitehorse end at half time!

I predict that one team will win the league three teams will go down and we will end like last season around 10-11-12th mark

We will finish in the penultimate group of three. Nothing else matters.
