Get Phil foden on a season long loan would be a decent bit of business. Young British talent

Could be onto something here give Man City player congestion activity for his position and his burgeoning need for regular first team action - season loan definitely.

Pep doesn’t believe in loaning his hottest prospects out. And that’s why he’s historically been so successful with youth. His Barcelona team, which is probably the best I’ve ever watched, was assembled pretty much entirely from the academy.

Foden will get even more chances this season under him.

We're the Arthur over ere!

Definitely! The lad looks absolutely quality and is such a talent being wasted at present at City. He did make their bench and even came in towards the end of last season but I just can't see City giving him a proper chance. Would be a fantastic signing!!!

"It's ok postman , he'll lick you to death" "That isn't really that comforting , I still end up dead !!"

If not Foden then maybe one of their other prospects.

With Mahrez there now, unless they have injuries or sell off B Silva or Gundogan then they are going to have some unhappy youngsters

Hopefully, the job Hodgson did with RLC and AFM last season will also encourage loans. Of course, developing our own talent would be even better
