What about Ki Sung Yeung as a replacement for Cabaye? He has left Swansea so no transfer fee required. Always looks a neat and tidy player for Swansea and what I have seen of him in the World Cup and has a good shot on him.

Got really excited for a second, thought we might have a link to him. What a tidy player he is, like a quarterback with a great delivery.

A little too slow for my taste and rapidly approaching 30, but not a bad central midfielder.

He always leaves his used kit carefully folded in the changing room? He's always smartly dressed and has a sharp haircut? It's the most over-used meaningless phrase ever dreamt up, especially "tidy" which seems to have become ubiquitous.
Bexley Dave Can you hear the Brighton sing? I can't hear a ******* thing! "The most arrogant, obnoxious bunch of deluded little sun tanned, loafer wearing mummy's boys I've ever had the misfortune of having to listen to" (Burnley forum) |

There is never even the slightest suggestion we went for him so why the debate. Even if we had been interested why would he come to us? He would have at least spoken to fellow countryman Lee who I seem to remember felt that he had never been given a fair chance so I suspect would have warned him off.

Neat and tidy means a player (usually a central midfielder) passes well over 90% of the times. Which is pretty true according to these statistics: If you click on the PS% (pass success percentage under "Passing" ) , Ki Sung Yeong is the tidiest central midfielder after Delph, Dembele, Gundogan, Fernandinho, Wijnaldum, Kante and David Silva (wow, he plays more advanced too!). Of course there are a few center backs between them but it's much easier for them to pass the ball between them.

I think it means that he looks like he has time on the ball, and is efficient with the ball (I.e. he makes good use of the ball, looks for simple passes and has a high completion rate), he is not a flair player but does what he does well. If that is not right then I am as lost as you.

It seems like we are just discussing him as a player, which does seem to be the point of the forum.
