Think we need to give Jedi a call and get him to have a word about how great a club we are. Leckie Said it at the last World Cup that he’d be a great option for us. Again he looked great against Denmark. I think he’s at a good age 27 and would be a very useful player to have as an option out wide. Very direct and powerful, think he would be a great player to have when we want to try something a little different. Arzani Kid looks class, with an injury to Nabbout and a fairly average performance from Tommy Oar, he may start against Costa Rica. 19 years old full of pace and skill, he is at Melbourne City, Man City’s sister team. I’m sure Man City will pick him up and loan him out like they did with Mooy. As a player who we could develop I’d absolutely love to see him here. He is too good for the Aussie leave and it’s a matter of time before he moves to Europe. I’d also love Mooy, but I can’t see us getting him until Huddersfield get relegated, but I have no doubt that he would be a massive hit for us.

Arzani is the exact breed of player I’d like to see Palace more heavily linked with. Maybe not quite ready yet, who knows? But has the potential to be a great little player - and for me that’s the exact ilk of talent we need to start targeting, to address squad depth more progressively & efficiently. I do think it’s important we start looking for deals like this as permanent transfers rather than loans, though. No point us always nurturing fellow premier league teams talents and left empty handed or having to overpay at the end. Leckie I think has had a good World Cup but is not an improvement to anything we already have over the course of a 38 game season. Nothing I’ve seen suggests he has any particularly exciting attributes.

Not hard to be stand out in a team full of dross. I’ve seen Iranian players I’d rather have at Palace tbf.
So I manage a Workshop which provides a safe learning environment for blokes struggling with PTSD and other mental health issues. Being a Palace fan isn't listed yet. |

Like I said in my original post, it was only a matter of time before Man City bought him and loaned him out. Seems City have indeed bought him and loaned him to Celtic. Definitely an upgrade on the A league, but it’s still a Mickey Mouse league. He’d have been better off going to the championship. I hope he doesn’t stay there too long and kicks on rather than stagnating like Rogic.
