I believe way back I heard someone mention that we wore red/blue back in the 30s but I wasn't around then to witness this ! Might be total hogwash !

wrong, and don't call me Shirley Nice one. You are quite right, red and blue. It does not seem in keeping with the rather understated colors of the time. My favorite kits remain the 69/71 pinstripe and the '79 sash, however, the red and blue stripes are Palace and the best colours in the league.
